About Markit

I was approached by Dana Cappiello at the beginning of 2021 regarding her vision of Markit. The main messaging was to connect people all around the world to their culture, and their creative practices that they have developed over their life and practices that have been passed down generations. It was during a time where travel was not available due to the Covid-19 virus.

Her vision was a combination of a traveling television show that highlights artist around the world and their goods, along with being able to purchase those goods through the Markit e-commerce site.

Roles & Responsibilities

I lead the project as the Creative Director. Creating investor decks, connecting with artists in the first wave of locations, creating the mock-up e-commerce site, and much more. I directed the look and feel of the company’s brand, keeping all of our messaging consistent and exciting. Above is an example of one of our investor decks. Each deck was curated to each investor, with the message remaining the same, “Markit is a new way to virtually travel. A way to research the best locations to fit the vibe you are looking for within your next trip. Along with a way to support artist around the world within their craft.”.
